Some people go for the Bosio nozzles. They are supposed to be "performance upgrades" so to speak, although if you need new nozzles I'm sure any will seem like night and day. If you do a search for Bosio on here you will come across a few threads. Diesel Giant.com has them for $46/per. I think new Bosch nozzles are around $35, although I don't know if they are the good quality ones.

Model type
I found Bosch nozzles, I just need to know what model number to buy because I get them from a private person, so I need to know what number I have, so I can tell him. Maybe they are all the same, I don't know. I would appreciate some enlightenment.
Hence the question about 265, 261, 240. Thank you |

I rebuilt mine 10,000 miles ago with bosio, they are made in italy.
Running great! Call 'dieselgiant', he will get you set up. Bosch "may" be made in india, beware of substandard metallurgy on these things...

I can't answer your question, as I haven't swapped MB nozzles. You might check the stock size for U.S. 602 engines. Then again, you might check the nozzle size for Euro engines.
If VW TDIs are any indication, the Euro-spec nozzles have larger diameters for better flow, hence many here chip their cars and upgrage to Euro nozzles for a boost in horsepower and torque.

Also, If you want to find out on your own which nozzle is for your car you can go to the BOSCH America web site. http://www.boschautoparts.com/Resources/VehiclePartFinder/

CSW will pop test and set your new nozzles for you,if you'll send him the old housing. 50,000 miles from now you'll be glad you did.

I bought a set of Monarks from Sean for my 300d--could not be more pleased. Smokes less, runs smoother, and mpg went up by about 8%.

finally changed
I ordered new bosch injectors and I am extremely happy with them. The power increase was remarkable. The old one were probably original. It might be more expensive than just replacing the nozzles only, but the bodies on my old ones were leaking badly and puking.
