Keep blowing fuse #12. 300TD

The year is a 1983 300Td.
I keep blowing the #12 fuse (blinkers, windows)
This is getting quite dangerous due to the fact that I cannot give hand signals b/c the windows are down and the blinkers don't work. YIKES!!

Well, I posted on this earlier and a gentleman told me that it might be that the clock's hot wire is touching another wire and it is shorting out something.
I replace the fuse and it lasts about4 or 5 seconds and then blows.
Well I pulled the wire to the clock and the first time I did it the fuse lasted a few minutes longer than usual and then it blew..

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My friend told me to add a circuit breaker rated for 10 amps or higher and that should put a patch on the problem. What do ya'll think about this?

Putting in a bigger fuse is not the answer. This can lead to even bigger problems. Actually, it can help diagnose the actual problem, but it may do so by igniting the source of the problem, leading to even bigger repairs. You need to isolate the problem. If you could disconnect all items on this fuse, you could add each item back, one at a time, to see which one is causing the fuse to blow. You could have a bad window motor, drawing huge amounts of current, causing the fuse to blow. You could also have a short in the fuse box wiriing, but I would check the components in the circuit first. Please do not just put in a bigger fuse as I do not want to read a post where your car went up in flames...but you found the source of the problem.

Very Good Then,
I am glad to get some solid advice. I will do as you say and then I will be able to actually fix the issue.
