Ok my title maybe a little over stating the problem. So my A/C quit today out of the blue. I went to check the fuse and find a portion of the box has melted behind the fuse servicing the A/C. The copper connection is still there and a slight readjustment of the fuse got the A/C working again for now. So what might have cause enough heat to build up that it would melt the plastic box yet not blow the fuse? Should I try and repair this box or look at replacing it? How much of a PITA would that be? I love this car, but hate F*cking the A/C system.
