Have you thought about changing over the servo to the Hard Wired set up? I think Phill has them or can get them. really supose to simplify things.
I think for a Euro manual style A/C Heat, you would have to find a doner car and swap the system over. With your talents, piece of cake.  Charlie

I've got an aluminum bodied servo out in the garage. Just went and looked at it and it doesn't have a marking anywhere on it....
