tired of the soggy sinking ship - sloshing like the titanic

I''ve been chasing around a leaky windshield gasket and/or from someplace else for awhile. I'm tired of it.
I have water somewhere in the frame of the car now , after driving in heavy rain. Every time I slow down or accelerate, slosh. Every time I corner, slosh.

I cant have a pool in my car. I need a solution. Any help appreciated.

If I cant fix this I will be selling the car.

After rebuilding the entire suspension, axles, entire brake system, etc, etc, I can't deal with a car that is going to rust from the inside.

Check all your body drains. They get clogged with leaves and crap. Especialy your sunroof drains. The 123 is famous for its front window leak in the driverside lower corner. Use windshield sillicone (people will tell you it causes rust but ive never seen anyone prove it. Its really thin and can flow into the joint and seal it without replacing the gasket) from autozone.

I do not believe that Silicone Sealant causes rust either. But, if you put Silicone Sealant over rust it will continue to rust under the Silicone.

If it is rusty under your Windshield Rubber a person might consider using some of that rust converter paint on the metal that is only under the Windshield rubber before you use Silicone Sealant.

Look, Ive checked all the drains. all clear. I've pushed in the gasket all around again.
There is water sloshing around and I can't find it!!!!
I'm so near done with this money pit.
BioDiesel or not, I will not let this car keep me worrying all the time. I just want to drive it and not wipe it's ass.

I removed my dash and went out and sat in the wagon the next time it rained. I could very clearly see the water dripping in from the bottom of the seal.
If seal is bad, seal must be replaced. I couldn't necessarily tell from your post if you have already done this, but it didn't seem like it. If not and it is leaking, well, then it needs replacing. {like worn out suspension parts}
I have also had the hole in the firewall under the battery tray.
Both conditions caused the back seat floor to pool with water.
It ain't rocket science......{but I agree, it is frustrating!!!}

Lift the hood and clean out all of the debris at the hinges, a shop-vac works well. The rear windshield seal was leaking on my 240D, and the replacement was pretty simple.

Pull the battery and LOOK. You likely have a rust hole under or near the battery tray.

My '84 300TD developed rust holes behind the undercoating in the driver's footwell and right below he drain for the left hood-hinge pocket. It was tricky to patch, but the water accumulating under my driver's seat has disappeared.

can someone possibly tell me

All drains clear and relatively new (2 yrs old) windshield gasket was installed.

Where the heck the water is trapped i my car?
The water is sloshing around in the passenger side...the floor is now dry but there is plenty of sloshing still under the floor boards someplace.
Where is it tapped?!

Inside a passenger-side door or rocker-panel?

Sill?

Try removing the front inner fender liner and I believe there is a plug you can pull out to look inside the rocker area. You may find your water there.
Good Luck!

yeah start searching for and yanking out plugs. there's a whole whack of them in/under there. The one under the inner fender liner is good to check, as are all the ones under the rocker panel down there. there three or so i think
good luck
