Parts from OM602 engine to OM603?

Hello guys!
I found a person who is parting out 1992 300D 2.5 with almost NEW engine. Engine was replaced by dealership less then 10K ago with all paperwork.
The guy paid 12 grand for it, but not long ago hit a deer on a highway....
I have a chance to purchase some parts of it, but not sure what parts are interchangeable with 603 engine. Any help will be appreciated. Also, if you need any parts - let me know and i will check it price. Car is goldish with tan interior. Front bumper, headlights and radiator is missing, but rest of it is in good condition.

Thanks in advance!

Just a few bolt-on parts- Injectors, belt driven accessories, and not much else...

Many of the parts that are interchangeable between the 60x series engines have a 601 part number. Things like hydraulic lifters, etc.

Not sure but I'd check on the water pump, front cover (several redesigns), belt tensioner, exhaust manifold (look for the #5/6 extension off a 603.971 to complete), oil filter housing, injectors and prechambers (in case you upgrade to #17 or higher head), valve lifters, temp sensors, fuel thermostat, head bolts if within spec...
