Fly wheel is already balanced go have it shaved if it has bad score markes on it so your new clutch will seat properly and last a long time, Fly wheel has balance weights already on it from the factory. put it in,Jerry

I have done four conversons and three were neutrally balanced. The fourth was most decidedly not. If you are wrong you will have to pull the tranny and flywheel out and have it balanced....unless your time is not worth anything you don't wanna risk this, IMHO!
Was the fourth worn?

Just normal wear. It clearly was balanced to the crank. I don't see how normal wear could cause much imbalance, and when you have it planed it should stay balanced pretty close to what it was originally.
