96 E300D Cruise Control Quit 30 degree weather

Hi, It drops to 30's degree here in the Northeast. I start my 96 E300D as usual, little tough. To my surprise, the cruise control quit working. I just replaced a brand new K40 board 2 months ago. Somebody suggested I should check into the N10-1 board where the K40 is located. IS THIS THE RIGHT WAY TO CHECK? And which one is it beside the K40? Any body have any photo and how to take it out? THX

Check the voltage at your ABS sensors first. One of them could be weak, and getting weaker when it gets cold.

Also, make sure your tires are all the same size and properly inflated. I had a problem with my cruise control because my rear snow tires were a different size than my fronts and the computer kept thinking they were turning too fast and skidding so the CC will not engage and if engaged will disengage.

Tires never been changed. I took it for a drive today. Believe it or not, the cruise control works perfectly. Tell me about that!!! What should I look into?

"Crap" on the ABS "Toothed Wheel"

The ABS sensors Generate an Electrical signal when passed by the tooth(S)
of the wheel ...If there's crap on the wheel or the sensor... No Good.
