Has anyone used this digital servo kit?

My servo is on the fritz and I was wondering if anyone has used this kit - it is somewhat less expensive than some of the others. It is called the ACCII do it yourself kit.

Thanks in advance.

I fixed the cruise control on my 300D. Personally I prefer to fix the car to factory specs simply because it was engineered that way, even though some of the systems arent engineered the best.

its cheaper than replacing the parts yes but I am not sure how it would work and how long it would work. Usually aftermarket "fixes" dont work as well as OEM or dont simply work.

What an understatement -THE ORIGINAL SYSTEM IS CRAP ! Hey Oracle, looks like your parting out a car - I bet you have a servo you need to sell.

Least I regress. Back to the original question , does anyone have experience with the above mentioned digital servo kit.

Thank you in advance for any pertinent information.

I purchased my 77 300D new, so I also want to keep it original. But the choice between the Servo and the kit, was no contest. I purchased the more expensive one II, and over a year ago, my wife now has hot air when she wants and cold air when she wants. Problem solved.

WOW, that looks cool! I wonder if they will make one for a W126? I am about ready to do some work on my climate control system and the more reliable the installation...the better!

This has been brought up before, and do s search should bring up something.
I don`t have this type of system, but what I have read on the evel servo I might go with the after mkt.

when it is cold, I don`t care what makes it work, I want heat.

Looks like a relatively inexpensive option. I'm too am curious as to how it functions. It's cheaper than a rebuilt aluminum bodied servo. I don't recall the cheaper kit being brought up here before, just the more expensive one.
I talked to the people at German Motors in Denver about these digital kits and their complaint was that there was no diagnostic procedures if they failed. Now it looks like the more expensive kit does have some kind of diagnosis system.
I installed a rebuilt aluminum bodied servo on my former 77 300d and was happy with it's function for the 6 yrs it was on there.

I installed one about two years ago or so on a 1980 450SLC. The install went easy, the only complaint I had was the end of the harness from the digital box is an exposed bit of circuit board and the vacuum lines seem a bit flimsy, but work. The car was just in the shop last week, the ACCII was still working great.

Granted if you have vacuum leaks in the system, you'll need to fix those first, if something is leaking, the blower motor won't run.

The 126 never came with the climate servo.
