Hi ,My 87 300sdl died in an engine fire. I have found an 87 diesel Wagon that needs a trans? Anyone know if the swap OK? Thanks Brian

I don't know if the transmissions are the same length. SDL uses an inductive speedo cable, TD uses a mechanical speedo cable. I've never heard of anyone using a 126 speedo in a 124 but how hard can it be? Maybe swapping tail housings will resolve possible length differences.
