Does anyone know the size of the belt I need. I have the double pulley config.

That's the year of the change to the smaller water pump pulley. If the pulley is right around 6" in diameter, the belts are 1000 mm. But, be aware that they probably won't go onto the pulley without removing the fan and the pulley.

My experience says that 1010mm would be perfect...........but, not available.

What I found is that that '84-'85 300D 617.952 engines came from the factory with the 7 inch pulley and the 9 blade plastic fan. It requires the 10x1037 belts. The '84-'85 300sd 617.951 engines came from the factory with the 6 inch pulley and 9 blade plastic fan. It uses the 10x1000 belts.
