Sorry for the loss. I did replace my lines this summer w/ OE units- it was only $180 for the pair from the dealership. but I should check them, again.

so- does anyone know what is the difference between an NA head and an FI head? anything? different compression ratios, right- but is that in the head or the pistons or head gasket? There are several different camshafts available, and should be easy to change out. what about the valves?
I imagine your head would bolt up to a turbo'd block, and then you could have a Euro spec 300TDt-(for jimmy ) nothing wrong with that.

Nope. But if he comes to Memphis, you ought to ride along with him. You could at least sit in a "Jimmy Recliner" and supervise us working.

You do remember that I know where that 82 300TD engine is, right?

The exhaust valves in the turbo engine are sodium filled, and IIRC the cam lift and duration is different.
