Trouble codes

I'm new to this site, so hello to all!
I just went through the bad glow plug master relay issue. I had a mechanic resolder it then I got a new bunch of trouble codes so I bought a new relay.
I'm now getting P1365,7,9 trouble codes about a misfire! Has anyone experienced the same issue after replacing that relay or do I have an actual misfire issue or is my wiring harnes going away?
Please give me your thoughts.

Those codes don't appear on lists I have available now. I have more info at home I can look at this evening, but if I am remembering correctly those codes indicate individual GP's that are out.

The question is if the mech and his solidering gun did any damage to the harness or if the connector to the relay is not making good contact.

How are your cold starts? Rough?

*edit* Found the post I was searching for earlier. http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=210408&highlight=p1365 You are getting codes for GP's 1-6; check the harness and relay again.

Trouble codes

Terry,
Thanks for the info. My codes reader says its "controlled ignition system or misfire"
It doesn't want to start cold and when it does it's an extremely rough idle.
If the engine heater has been on it starts with a normal crank, but trips the codes immediately. It was giving an injector circuit open code also untill I replaced the relay with the new one. Now it's just the misfire codes.
Can I and should I test power to the injectors?

Is not your inj's; those are GP codes. THey aren't getting juice.

Check the relay with a meter.

Maybe the mech plugged it in backwards or something stupid like that cause ALL 6 are reporting as bad.

Go to dieselgiant.com and follow the W123 GP tutorial there to check them and the relay. Our relay is slightly different but the principles remain the same.

Don't try to pull a GP until you search this site for 606 & broken GP or snapped off in head, etc. HOURS worth of reading.
