Did I make a good car swap?

My 88 190d with xxx miles for an 84 300cd with xxx miles. The coupe is black with hail damage zero rust car, clean interior, motor feels strong under load, and goes down the road straight .The body is rough ,Im in it for a straight title swap of my 190 which I was selling for $1400. ,it had decent body and interior and a little better econo.A hood ,deck lid and sunroof swap Ill be left with just the roof for some dent repair and paint, that must of been some hail storm to dent up an mb .

need pics of both cars to help tell if the swap is a good deal. I would think the 190 would be a nicer, more modern car.

I tend to rate cars in terms of longevity and dependability, so I like the swap. Talking about a 'herd wandering in' made me laugh aloud. I had that disease once and enjoyed it immensely. I'm down to four 123's now (diesel, all of them).

I'm finally back to a 'balance' in life....

Off to the yard today to find a hood , a cowl ,and any mb part I might need to fix the old dented girl up .The hood is the worst, it looks like after the hail storm the owner came out and added their own dents in anger .A Hood and Decklid after paint and install will give this car its beauty back.Diagnosis ,in recovery..Ill post some pics ,with before and after when Im done ,the guy I bought it from also has some pics from the yard.
