so... to make this clear. I am aware i do NOT have a euro E300 Diesel but a euro delivery car. i knew that getting into it...

there were just some things on the car that seemed a little off && I was looking for some answers.

i really don't need know-it-alls up my @$$... I love this forum & bow down to quite a few people in here... and many that will read this...

you guys (& a select gal or two) have saved me lots of $, pain, & heartache.

anywho. i'm not making this a rant & rave pissfest thread. just wanted to throw that out there

as soon as i grab my camera will get post detailed pics uploaded

I still need to compound and clay bar this car

I havn't even needed to vaccum the car yet (will shampoo carpets tomorrow )

annoying ass headliner sag (to be repaired monday

my poor neighbor & her dirty C220 (idk y! I own an auto detailing business!, i've offered as low as $35 for a total deal!)

and the engine PS... i didn't clean nor did the dealership. i just had the P.O. over for dinner a couple of hours ago!

too bad the red SL600 wasn't in the spot on the other side of the C220 & the GL450 to the right of me...

Thanks for the Engine Pics, I think mine is missing that clamp that attaches the forward harness to the engine block by the fan shroud. Since you are in the detailing business, whats the best way to get rid of that cosmoline stuff and to detail the engine? Mine has some of that cosmoline stuff and I hate it! Beautiful car.... MORE PICS!

It's clearly a US spec model, the trunk garnish for the license plate light won't fit a Euro plate, and the front bumper has the filler for the US plate as well. The EWD delete option also indicates it's not meant for the European market.

No matter, those can be rectified. It looks awesome!

When you post bone-head threads about sawing into a W123, you're going to get some heckling.

When you post about a fantastic purchase, you'll get showered with compliments complements.

I hope that you don't feel too burned by some "know-it-alls" here, and hope my little jabs here and there don't put me on your $hit list.

You probably have one of the nicest cars in the Diesel forum now.
