glow relay lesson..

Today i couldn't get into the Fastlane website to order a new glow plug relay. I could get into the people from WA website but decided to wait.
I decided to see if i could take the relay apart and clean the contacts. Symptoms were I had to tap on the relay to get the glow plugs on.
I removed the relay... simple,, took the four screws out of the top and looked at the contacts inside. They were pitted so I used an old flat file (ignition file) to clean them up.
Put everything back together and got a nice "clunk" when I turned the key.
Thanks Fastlane for saving me $100.

Walking isn't a lost art: one must, by some means, get to the garage.
