Parchment interior in a W126

I have a 1985 Mercedes 300SD. It is silver blue with parchment interior. The car had water damage and i am trying to clean it out but the smell remains. Any ideas on how to kill the smell. Is it easier to get another interior? Parchment doesn't seem to be so common, especially in the local junkyards. Does anyone have any recommendations? I am looking for another carpet.

I used to think my light interior was Parchment, then I ran the VIN and found that its actually "Mushroom"....our W124 is too.....I guess I just always end up with a Mushroom car.
