what color is my car considered??

I have an 85 300D. It is the dark dark blue color. What is the official name they call this?

I would call it dark blue or maybe off green.

Only works for cars 81 and on, Itll work fine for me but doesnt work for my 77

looks like it is 904 Dunkelblau

Is this the same as Lapis Blue??

deep blue is a what an online translator says which isnt 100% correct. If anyone knows german they could tell you exactly what it means.

If you give an autobody shop your color code they can mix you up the right paint

Mine is a 78 so you can't use that Russian site but I found the code stamped above the radiator. However, it says 906G. 906 is grayblue. Any idea what the G stands for?

Paint brand, I believe...I think there were two or three that were used.

Mine is also 904 Midnight Blue but, what is the lower color? It is a dark metallic blue how can a car with two different colors have one color code? When i tell the paint supplier 904 it comes up midnight blue which they have a formula for,but for the lower color they have no clue! Don
