Air conditioning

So this summer something sprays out into the passenger floor from AC system.
So I research it and discover there is a pop off valve thing under the dash.
I read Dieselgiants how to on replacing it. So I take the dash apart and well come to find out dieselgiant is doing the repair on a 300 d... I have a 300sd and I dont see that valve anywhere. Under my dash is a sealed plastic unit made by Behr. Any ideas out there.

Your post is vague. I'm not quite sure what you are asking.

What made you decide what sprayed on the floor was from the AC? Where did it come from?

Also I'm not sure what you are referring to when you state "pop off valve"?

The expansion valve is located above the accelator pedal on the SDs. I believe it is over by the glove box on the Ds.

You most likely have a disconnected A/C drain hose or its plugged up. Air conditioned air leaves condensation behind which MUST drain from the A/C unit as water. So pull the right carpet back and look close to the trans hump for a hose that passes thru the floor to drain the water.

Would you please provide that URL because we are having trouble identifying this concept.
I am not aware of any AC blowoff valve INSIDE any car myself...

He is trying to say that some Freon leaked out of his AC system, the condenser and such components are located under the glove box behind the passenger kick panel.

This is the writeup mentioned about over on DieselGiant's page:

http://dieselgiant.com/repairyourac.htm

The expansion valve is pictured in pictures 5 and 6.

I find it hard to imagine it being able to spray anything onto the floor given its position and stuff around it...
That is why I am still wondering what is happening to his car.
