Has a Diesel MB ever sold at Barrett-Jackson?

We all know the diesels are the worker bees of the MB hive, and lack the glamourous image of the SL's, but I'm wondering if a diesel Mercedes has ever made it up on the stage at Barrett-Jackson. Does anybody know?

How about if we widen it to other makes. Has any diesel car ever sold on B-J?

Not that I have seen.

A mint trailer queen can only fetch $20-30,000. Not quite BJ level when even a fancy golf cart can bring $65,000.

This year they have some R107's, W126's, and a couple W140's. Thats all I saw on their website for mortal cars.

Intelligence in pre-owned cars is rare. We've got the market cornered, guys.

Cindy McCain bought a pink one a couple years ago at the Scotsdale auction. Not sure how much it went for, but she can afford it.

They were going to have an '83 SD for sale but the 1st-2nd shift gave the transporter whiplash then when they went to shut the car off it just kept on running. Finally, they went to lock the doors and nothing happened but they could hear the pump running.

In the five years running that I have attended, no... The only 80s era I've seen is R107s...

I leave for Phoenix for the auction this Friday, and will report, but I doubt any Diesels will be there. Its an amazing experience... A car show mixed in with a game show, mixed in with an auction... very, very exciting.

That's the thing about Wichita, Ks... Great place to live, as long as you get out of town every chance you get!

Well as long as work lets you, I wish I could get away period. I havn't had a real vacation in many years.

I can only go to FL when someone dies, but it kind of turns into a vacation since the funeral/service only takes up a day or two...
