Yes that's two kids

No it's three really, including me. Well maybe it is two.

What do you mean old? I just turned 65 Jan 8, Oh by the way, Happy Birthday. Noticed we have the same day. And you are much younger .

Congrats on the new baby, that`s another 20 yrs at hard labor.

Always enjoyed your posts and antics you went through, especially the oil drain fiasco at the HOA.

there was a guy in the seattle area selling a 82 Datsun Diesel PU on E=Bay with 50,000 original miles, that woulld be right up your alley. small economical, great milage, and Diesel. It`s like mine in my sig.

Oh and I just pulled out the engine and trans from mine. so I know you aren`t too old .

Don`t be a stranger, you are good entertainment.

Charlie

Remember that big pile of snow we got around xmas? That was sweet. I had 3 weeks of vacation, and all that snow really felt like the holidays. They kept sending us home from work. I went like 3 years w/o a vacation, then suddenly I had 3 weeks off...

its funny but that 300D really HUNG on to me..

I sold it to a guy who flew up from Nevada in August. I warned him about the starter but he decided to drive it back.

Well I got a call about 5 PM, he was stranded in Portland and it wouldn't turn over.. And so I went to my spares and found a starter motor and I told him I would get down to Portland in 2 hours..

He forgot to tell me he was 3 hrs south of Portland.

There I was at 3 AM underneath the engine at a Rest Stop in Orgeon getting the starter motor off, but we didn't have the hex bit !

and finally I just went at it with the double vise grip trick and we got it off at 4 am..%&^
This car was true to form to the last minute I owned it, here I was at 5 am no sleep going into work.. on the way back I kept on looking in my mirror to see if it was following me home.. I gota call at Xmas, he told me he loved the car.. this is a true story

Yes I remember it well. The neighbors driveway was the sledding hill for my kids. I'm glad you got some time off. Do you work outside, is that why they kept sending you home?

Congratulations on the new baby.

If you are fathering children you must not be all that old!

If you sold the 123 that you had rebuilt everytning on for a grand the buyer must have gotten a hellofa deal!

Welcome back!

I'm still reeling from the $1000 price tag. $1000? Really? That has to be the single most under-valued sale of a diesel W123 in the history of Western Washington. $1000 here is only supposed to get you one that has rusted out jack points and a rotten interior.

This makes my car look bad. LOL

It had a salvage title when I bought it. That plus I had to be honest about the car fire. I had a couple of 3K and offers but they were people who would think I rooked them later on...

Tony Randall, born Leonard Rosenberg on Feb. 26, 1920, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, died Monday, May 18, 2004 of pneumonia; complications from heart bypass surgery he had undergone in December 2003; he was 84.

Tony Randall worked opposite Rock Hudson, Doris Day, David Letterman, Johnny Carson and, most famously, Jack Klugman in his role as Felix in "The Odd Couple." He won an Emmy Award as the fastidious Felix opposite the sloppy sportswriter Oscar Madison, played by Jack Klugman.

While Randall gained his greatest fame on TV, he also loved the theater, and it pained him that America never had a national repertory. He even noted that even before Israel was created it had a national theater, Habimah. In 1991, Randall founded the National Actors Theatre, putting in $1 million of his own money, to present classics by such twentieth century playwrights as Clifford Odets and Arthur Miller, as well as Ibsen, Chekhov and Shakespeare. As a consummate performer, Randall lamented having to work with co-stars he considered not up to par. He complained, for example, that Marilyn Monore, "was not a competent actor. She did one line at a time - cut - then she did the next line. Impossible! That's not what I call an actor."

Florence, Randall's wife of 54 years, died in 1992. They had no children. Three years later, at age 75, he married 25-year-old actress Heather Harlan in a City Hall ceremony conducted by Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. At 77, Randall became a father for the first time when Heather had a baby girl, Julia, named for his mother. A year later, his wife gave birth to a son.
