I like shiny things. . .

I'm waiting for $3650.

Tom won't let me buy another one without selling at least two of the
current ones.

That's my problem, I always find new stuff I want before I've sold off any of my old stuff. Consequently, I end up accumulating lots of stuff and I'm now completely full of it...

I've seen better on ebay. There was 1985 300SD couple years back. Original owner was selling it with 20k miles (with dealer records). This car looked like it was brand new in the showroom. It didn't sell because @ 14 grand reserve was not met. It was never relisted

However, at 200k this is nice looking 300D

I think you better stay away from it, it only gets 25mpg. I think the guy is lying, should get 40 .

also no engine pictures or trunk pictures.

Now where did you say it is???

Looks like a nice car but always beware when you see those chrome wheel well trims, folks have been known to cover rust with them. I like the color but would like to see the engine room.

It's not hard to find a 200k mile 300D - they're everywhere around here.

Dash wood is coming off, antenna is neither up or down, notice how the wheel is cocked so you can't see the gauges? He says this "all wood pieces in correct shape and in place" but he really means that they are warped and bowing like crazy.

Clean body though, and I'd like to see engine shots.

There are a lot of quick and easy things that he could do to make that car a lot more sellable. The dash does have a crack in it, contrary to what he said in the description. The hood star is all jacked up, and the antenna is in two half-cocked positions in 2 different pictures, neither were all the way up or down. It looks like the window switch is gone on the rear-passenger side door, or does something else go there? I don't know what the sedan doors look like.

Wow rust free! Those don't exist in CT anymore...unless they were not driven in the winter.

It's in about the same shape as my '85 except I still have the original radio and my wood is in better shape. Mine does have a well-cracked dash, wish I could find a replacement.
