It will bolt up to the head, but it may not clear the turbo.

Turbo does not clear, I've tried.

It clears my turbo just fine, both the W115 and W123 N/A manifolds.

Does yours clear because you have a VNT?

ForcedInduction 01-21-2009 11:56 AM

Might be but the overall dimensions are about the same except for length.

I was just thinking that the adapter between the exhaust manifold and the turbine housing would push the turbo more towards the passenger side, thus allowing more room for the manifold runners.

Well i am going to use some metal pipe, probally have to custom make one of the pipes to fit on the intake manifold its going to be a challenge w/o a welding tool :(

Especially if you don't know how to tig.

mild steel would be much easier to construct if you don't have alot of welding experience

Steel is not used on intakes because rust flakes eventually will form and damage the engine.
