Intake manifold swap question...
Will a W123 OM617 Naturally Aspirated intake manifold fit into a W126 OM617.95 (Turbodiesel), I want to intercool My Mercedes, It hard to find a W115 intake so i just wanting to know if that will work...

It will bolt up to the head, but it may not clear the turbo.

Turbo does not clear, I've tried.

It clears my turbo just fine, both the W115 and W123 N/A manifolds.

I was just thinking that the adapter between the exhaust manifold and the turbine housing would push the turbo more towards the passenger side, thus allowing more room for the manifold runners.

Well i am going to use some metal pipe, probally have to custom make one of the pipes to fit on the intake manifold its going to be a challenge w/o a welding tool :(

Especially if you don't know how to tig.

mild steel would be much easier to construct if you don't have alot of welding experience

Steel is not used on intakes because rust flakes eventually will form and damage the engine.
