Strange Object Disrupting my Shifter and Window Controls

This is in Ol' Turbo, my rock solid reliable car, no less. The car recently performed near impeccably during my 3000 + road trip to California and back.

This morning I took a mild road trip up to Northern Kansas, and the controls were easily accessible and acting properly. On the way back, I ran into some issues...

Can anyone offer suggestions on how I proceed? I can't get to the windows, and have to shift gears with the utmost care.

Some pictures of what I'm dealing with...

The fat one on the right is named Bentley (the roommates dog) I call him Butterball. He's a huge wimp, scared of everything.

The runt (mine) is named Dino. Curious, smart, and a bit too fearless for his own good. Tonight he saw himself in the reflection of the sliding door, making a full force run into the glass trying to greet the puppy he saw in the reflection.

Are they a purebred breed? if so what breed are they. they look like they will be BIG dogs when full grown. Are they Afghan Hounds? Are they that mid Eastern shepherd dog?
One of my clients have 3 of the mid Eastern "Alibi" dogs, a breed that doesn't herd, but protects the animals, Cropped (as in almost none)ears and tail.

I'd try the milk bone lure first.. if that doesn't work, you may be stuck with them right there. Does your AC work?
