240D blinking seat belt light?

Continues to blink after car starts and runs. GP relay?

Car does not start, needs to be push started. Valves. filters all that. Fuel delivers, car starts FINE after driving around block a few times.

I have a blinking seat belt light at random times, and it appears to be completely unrelated to the seat belts themselves.
Another member suggested a bad ground somewhere, which sounds like the most plausible explanation. Just waiting for warmer weather before I dig around. I don't see how the seat belt light could be related to the GP relay, but I do see how a bad ground could be.
Good luck looking around, guessing Atlanta is a little better weather than the ice storm we're experiencing.

Someone made an excellent suggestion that the GP light and brake light might be swapped. Considering the oil pressure portion of the cluster was replaced in recent years and the buzzer is broken this is quite plausible.

A quick "nip" with wire cutters will fix it, like you really need another warning in life

That one should be a real quick test. Stomp the parking brake and see if the GP light comes on.

Dunno why I said brake, I meant seat belt. I confirmed last night as the GP light went off when the buzzer went off. All 4 GP replaced with valve job, runs like a champ. Needs timing for sure. Friend never had the valves done, scoring and blue. How bad is this?
