e brake cable 87sdl
anyone change an e brake cable on a 87sdl-i ve heard you have to take seats and carpet out,but have no more info than that.my cable is worn at foot brake and does not return pedal when disengaged has to be pulled up with my foot, ihave determined its not pedal or spring.

There is a turn buckle under the car about 1/2 way down. Try tightening that. If you need a cable I have one that I did not need...

At that "turn buckle", there should be a return spring. Also, determine whether it is the rear cables (2) or the front cable.

is the turn buckle easily visible as the cable goes internally at some point,ill check on weekend thanks for info

It is visible on the left side of the car approximately where the 'B' pillar is...

Yeah check the spring underneath the car. It becomes very rusty.
