Help Wanted

Looking for a Portland, OR area enthusiast with sound engine-building skills to assist in my heated garage - days or evenings - in the removal/replacement of the head on my 1986 602.911 (W201)

I have another vehicle, so I am not on a critical time-line to get the work done.

Compensation: $45/hr and as much of the applicant's choice of beverage that can be consumed in one day or evening, each day or evening.

I have a minimal tool array but a good NAPA/Machine shop is less than 5 mins away and tool rental around the corner. I have the factory service manual on disc.

This is not a joke regardless of how it might sound. I have pulled heads on V8's before, but nothing with fuel injection so I am a little nervous and need help. I want to be involved with this repair, so I am offering a good-natured experienced mechanic (I know that is a contradiction of terms) the opportunity to educate a fellow enthusiast.

Please PM me for more details or offers. Thanks in advance,
- geoff
