wheel compatablity, 240D and 300TD??

Just wondering if the spare tire from my '79 300TD would bolt on to my W115 '76 240D......I've got a small trip to the coast coming up and the spare on my 240D is toast, and money is tight.......

It should. I've used the spare from my girlfriend's 76 300D on my 83 240D, and seen plenty of other rim swaps on Mercedes.

The 115 wheels have a slightly smaller center hole. The bolt pattern is the same and it will bolt on but won't draw up tight as it should on a 123. The difference is small enough that its pretty easy to open up the opening a little and go.

123 wheels bolt right on the 115 with no issues.
