e300d fuel hose size
Replacing fuel tank due to lots of rust in the original. What kind and size fuel hose should I get to replace the sections that attach to the tank? Thanks.

I do not know the answer to your question but you might use one of the online parts places to find out what the metric size is and after that find out what the closest size in inches is. I use 5/16 of an inch hose to replace 7mm hose.
You could also just take a piece of the origional hose down to the local parts place and compare the inside diameters of your hose and the ones that they sell. The GoodYear fuel hose that is sold in most Autoparts stores is also rated for diesel fuel. If your question was about the type and size of hose needed to connect the Tank to the Fuel Filling Neck where the Fuel Tank Cap goes it would be best to get the correct hose for your vehicle. The reason is it would fit better and it is harder to find larger diameter fuel hoses and when you do they do not want to sell a short 3-4 inch section of it.
