NSS question?

If i unplug the switch will the car still operate as normal? This will only be for a temporary time because Of money so within the next month or so it will be replaced.

No, removing NSS breaks the connection between the ignition switch and the starter. If the NSS is removed, you need to connect the two wires (violet and violet/white in my '87 300D) to each other. This is, of course, at the risk that the starter will operate with the car in gear. There are also wires to the back-up lamps on the NSS. In my car, they are black/red and gray/yellow. It would be best if you get the right wires!
