tranny vacum question, 82 300sd engine/auto

hey im wondering about the vacum line for the tranny on the engine/tranny im swapping into my truck. its from a 82 300SD auto. is there any simple way to set it up? like can i just run it to full vacum all the time? or disconnect it? i would like to remove the vacum switches on top of the valve cover if at all possible. any word of wisdom? thanks

ken

In a truck, just disconnect it. See if you're OK with the firmness of the shifts. If they don't clunk the drivetrain, you don't need any vacuum.
