Climate control hot air only, I'm burning

:confused:I have 92 300SD and the ACC is not responding to control the temperature of the air. Any body encounter this problem and found the solution?. Please advise.

If it is the scroll wheel, then it may be like my 201....

The temp scroll wheel includes two pots. When mine has done this (on two separate occasions) it has been that the pots have become desoldered from the board.

A quick resoldering tends to cure this problem. The ACC is not hard to remove on the 201; don't know about the 140.

You might try the tech forum for more exposure to 140 expertise.

My guess is you have a bad electrical connection to the monovalve rendering it stuck open.

Thank you Sixto for your reply, do you think I need to replace the mono valve.

Also, is the link for the tech forum on this web site?

If it is anything like the W201, this can be caused by a vacuum line disconnection or leaking. I have had this problem a couple of times; once when a brown vac line on the driver's side fender well was disconnected and once when the vac line to the trans on the vac amplifier was disconnected. I would suspect something similar on your car.
