Instument Panel Change
Hello All:
Does anyone have any experience with changing the instrument panel in a 79 300CD? My current instrument panel has the large clock on the right. I would like to have the large tach, with small clock that I see in later models. Is this possible? Is it something a light- to - mid skill DIYER could accomplish? Would it be better to have a shop do the installation? Is there some complicated connection to monitor the rpms? Am I just being silly? Thanks for the indulgence.

James,
It is possible to put the tach in place of the clock. However, to get it to work you will need the wiring harness and all the related components of the tach like the sending unit. It's very possible. SW
