87 tdt w124 vacuum question
I noticed a blue round vacuum thing by the driver side fender insode the motor compartment that has vacuum hoses going to tranny,it reads tra,anyway underneath it there are 3 connections for vacuum,i only have 2 of them taken,am i missing a vacuum line there?

There are two connections and an adjustment screw below. They can act goofy if there isn't a cap over the adjustment screw.

Two connnections sounds right but i feel 3 holes,is the adjusting screw in the middle of the 3?

The blue thing has 4 hose fittings - vacuum source and transmission output on top, VCV signal and boost signal below. And the adjustment screw in it's cave, of course.
I think the boost signal is in the middle. Remove the rubber strip on the edge of the fender, take an 8mm wrench and remove the 2 screws holding the blue thing in it's bracket to the bracket bolted to the fender then have a look underneath. Sixto 87 300D |
