Drain Diagram

Does anyone have a diagram for the locations of the drains (water, etc) on an 83 300SD?

I would like to make sure that none of them are clogged.

Let's see..there are several under each door, two at the front and back of the sun roof I think, one on each side of the trunk, and a few in the lower regions between the two firewalls. I'm sure I am missing some...

Oh yeah, there are a few on each side at the bottom of the rocker panels.

I'll be following this. I have water in the low area in the left side of the trunk and I have checked;
Rear window seal - OK and no wet spot on metal below this or anywhere near this
Antenna mount - I removed it and reseated it with sealant
Trunk seal - all good and glued down tight

The area that is wet is only wet on the bottom area (pool of water up 1" in the carpeted well) and no wet carpet leading down into this area. I'm wondering if it is a plugged sun roof drain if one comes near this area or the tail light seal.

I don't think the sunroof drains get near the trunk well. Check your tail light seal. Mine was not seating properly and allowed the well to totally fill during a small rain storm. I put a new seal on and made sure the light was very tight in the frame and it has not leaked since.

I'll give it a try. The only reason I didn't think this was the problem is I thought the carpet below the tail light would be wet and it wasn't but maybe the water runs down behind the carpet, I'll take a look.

I opened the sunroof motor case and it is dry inside so I doen't think thats it. The water seems to get in that side of the trunk even if the car is parked for a few days and it rains.
