Auto Trans Control Valve making noise

I noticed earlier that a part under my hood was making a slight hissing/air suction sound after I shut my engine off. The part number stamped on the part is 000 545 04 27 which I have identified as the Automatic Transmission Control Valve. I have never noticed this noise before, but that dosent mean it hasn't been making it. Is it normal for this part to make noise?

Is it located next to the ABS and Windsheild washer bottle or over by the turbo?

Is this necessary? Is it a problem if I can hear air leaking?

The 606.962 IP is electronic; there are no moving parts attached to it (linkage) and it doesn't have any vacuum lines.

Grayslim - Is the noise you hear comming from the left or right firewall? Lil putt, putt, putt noise? Goes away after 2-3 minutes?

*edit*I found your part number and as I suspected you are indeed referring to one of the two vacuum transducers attached to L/R fender wells. The proper name of the part is Pressure Converter. One contols the wastegate and the other the EGR valve. What you are hearing is them venting vacuum. Perfectly normal.
