What items to pluck from dead 1980 300-CD?

So... I've finally moved myself to give up the thought of finding a new engine for my dead 300-CD.... so I'm trying to figure out what items to pluck off of it before donating it somewhere or selling it for parts/scrap-metal.

Can anybody suggest the most valuable items to pluck off in terms of value and that would be nice spare-parts for my other 300-series car that is still in good shape and running?

Thanks all.

where are you located? I could use a few of the coupe specific interior parts if you are planning to strip it.

I heard good rear window regulators are hard to come by.

Yeah, where are you located? If the rest of the car is in good shape I have a spare engine I could drop in it....

Windows are valuable if you have another CD. All four window regulators are good for reuse or resale. Front seats if they're in good condition.

Really, anything aft of the firewall is relatively rare, but useful only for another coupe.

If you're dropping her off at a boneyard and have a couple of other 617 cars, no reason not to strip anything you can store, especially easy-to-get-at wear items like the starter and alternator.

I'm located in Portland Oregon guys.... I might be able to send some parts if you were really interested.

I'm not sure I have the energy to strip much off of it other than easy to get to and valuable parts.... otherwise I was just thinking of selling it as pretty complete.... restoration project. The interior's not so good really... lots of cracked wood paneling, seats dirty and worn.... it was going to be a projecgt for me until the engine seized.

Let me know....

I know I need a driver's side window regulator for a coupe. How are the springs/pads in either seat?

Rear regulators are also nice if they work. If they're the original they bend and the windows will only go down 1/2 way.

So that's what is wrong with my PS rear window....

I also need the rubber strips along the base of the windows if they are in good shape. Mine aren't...

DieselPop, post up or email me some pictures and a price for the whole car. I may be interested...

Portland, OR

I posted above that I'm in Portland OR.... Rcounts.... where are you located? I might be inclined to sell it to you if you can come and get it I guess.

Seats are not in great condition... the front ones that is... the interior is that "palamino" brown I think. There are no carpets left... they were cut out after rotting I guess. If anybody wants pictures, post your email addy, or try to send it to me private, and let me know what pictures you want.

I've already posted it on craigslist, Portland and had some interest in it.... the posting has expired though I think. Act quick if you're interested, as I need to get it off the street because of just-expired tags.

Thanks...
