i was thinking i could get it from the MB dealer but not sure.. Im definitely pissed about not having this on my car.. ugh!

If you mean the options plate, no, it's not available. I asked my dealer. My '87 is also missing its plate. I got one from a junkyard. Not the right car but at least the right color and it looks OK at 20 feet. I'll eventually find one from the right car if I keep looking.

It's kind of kin to a fingerprint.
Somebody did what I did... took it off to go get parts or paint. I almost lost it.
