How to adjust the windshield spray nozzle
'81 300SD. One nozzle sprays too high. What is small enough but strong enough to stick in the nozzle to do the re-aim? I tried a very small allen wrench but it was still too big. I have the MB desired spray pattern for all four nozzles but just cannot figure out how to move the single errant nozzle.
That's the only thing wrong with my SD. |

Sewing needle, or an earring post works in a pinch. I've got a great wife. LOL

Leave it to Mercedes to document exactly how to position the washer nozzles,

Thanks guys; headed outside now in the rain.
PS - MB probably has a computer re-aim the nozzles these days. |

Well, I am wet and have grease on my khakis but the nozzles are aimed correctly now. There is a reason that MB posted a spray pattern; if you aim them just a little off, they just spray against the housing and very little gets on the windshield.
Here is a picture of a nozzle adjuster that I made after reading the responses. |
