I am going to change an engine on my Mercedes Benz 1982 300SD Chassis 126 and the mechanic told me about a need of new seal (gaskets) kit to install manifolds, turbo, oil pan, injection pump, etc., to the coming engine. The coming engine is used and will come without many parts that will need to be removed from old engine to be installed on the coming engine. If anyone can give a list of the gaskets and seals that I will need will be great.
Another question is about compression ratio to know how good is the engine before it be installed in the car. This engine was not tested for compression but I will do it before installation. Please send me the compression numbers for a good, reasonable and bad engine. Thanks Nyko46
