Zerex G-05 cheaper than green stuff

What a pleasant surprise. Went to NAPA yesterday to buy G-05. Price had just dropped to $10.95 for the full strength (not 50/50). Various brands of regular green was still at $12.95+.

Any reason not to convert everything I own (97 Lincoln, and 97 Ranger) to the GO-5? They are all due for a flush and refill this year.

I would. It's Ford approved. Much better for the plastic parts then the green stuff.

All the local autozones and adv. auto parts stores here quit carrying it. I had to use some prestone "safe with ANY color coolant" coolant in a pinch. The napa was closed, and I've never bought it there so I don't know if napa has it here. I'll have to check, otherwise, all I'll have locally is pure original MB coolant.

GO-5 is compatible w/regular green-when I bought my '82 I changed the green to GO-5, FOUR years ago, still looks BRAND NEW!!!

I also bought G-05 at NAPA 10 days ago for 10.95. By the way, here in Massachusetts, NAPA sells windshield washer fluid for 59 cents a gallon every Saturday only.

Is the G-05 you guys are getting red like dexkill... err, I mean dexcool? The MB coolant is a very light yellow color.
