anybody ever put on the stainless fender well covers?

these...http://www.performanceproducts4benz.com/product.asp?pf%5Fid=P99%2D056&dept%5Fid=6075

Can someone post pic of them on a W123? I have some rust...based on the condition of the car Id like to cut the rust out, POR-15, and cover them up with these.

Opinions? This is not a show car (85)...

I did the same thing on my 96 E300d, and they have done the trick. Got mine from another parts supplier, and very easy to install. In my case, the quality of the metal was excellent and has held up well, but cannot say the same for the thin rubber trim pieces that comes with them. After a couple of years, they seem to degrade, but it is not really noticeable unless your really pay close attention to the area. Total cost was about $95, as compared to about $600 to have a body shop try and fix the area.

I bought a set last year but they are still sitting in my garage. I couldnt figure out how to mount them without drilling. Since the purchase I had a run-in with a deer and had to get the drivers side painted, I had the rust fixed at that point since ins. co. was paying for the paint job I paid the labor to fix the rust on rear wheel well.
