VIN decoding
 
hello Can anyone help me decode this VIN 123 190 10 000 995 the Russian site wont accept it because it does not have a 17 didgit VIN . this 1979TD Euro has 14 digits. thanks

Try emailing it to the classics center.

Or putting "WDB" in front of the VIN.

it does not work with WDB!!! and there is no WDB on the Vin:eek:

It's a W123 chassis.... that's part of it.

I tried that, you can sometimes trick the Russian site into decoding an early vin number by adding WDB to the beginning.

The Russian site only works with 1981+ models and some 1980 models.

the russian site decoded my '79...

The Russian site can decode this car, vin 11603612007165 if you put a WDB in front.

It also decodes my Mom's '79 R107, but not my '79 W123
