616 rod cap nuts...pleez
 

i'm rebuilding a 2.4 diesel outr of a 79 123. but i'm a little concerned about the rod cap nuts. they look like 14mm 12 point or triple star but what i have doesn't seem to fit real well. and i cant find anything in special tools. any ideas?mike

Take one of the caps nuts to a good parts house, or make friends with a Snap-On distributor. IIRC, it is a tripple square that results in the 12 point look.
