Lost blinkers and more...

I need your help - initially, I thought this problem was only limited to my blinkers, but I just noticed, that a most of my guages are toast as well... The speedometer still works, but the fuel guage, oil guage, temp guage, rpm guage are all 'dead'... Also, my brake lights are dead as well. Could be fuses, I guess... help -

Interestingly enough the emergency lights still work when I kick the rocker switch on/off. The emergency switch is a red rocker switch is located on the center console (by the gear shifter) between the seats. I've read some stuff in the archives about this rocker switch being tied closely to some of the problems with blinkers... but I wonder if this is the case here, or if my problems are deeper...

Need some tips on how go fix these 'ghosts' and get my ride steet-legal again.

THanks,
James

Sounds like it could be a ground issue. Are you sure your oil pressure gauge is dead? It is a mechanical gauge and should only be 'dead' if it is disconnected or the engine is not running (or has no oil pressure)

One of your fuses is cracked and is not conducting power. It's difficult to see a cracked fuse and the fuse number would be helpful.

I'm not at the office so I can't find the fuse number today.

Maybe another member can provide it.

Yep - thanks, it was Fuse #12. Now it's all back to normal, except for all its regular quirks, of course...

The fuses are so cheap that its well worth it to just go through the fuse box and replace all of them to prevent any weird issues.

Looking in the Fuse Box the Fuse looked OK (2 of my Windows were not working). I had to pull the Fuse out to see what was causing the problem.
