1981 300d: locks inoperative

Hi,

The vacuum-actuated door locks are inoperative. I haven't trouble-shooted a system like this.

Is there a vecuum reservoir somewhere in the car? If so, where?
Where do I start?

Thank you.

Start with the "search" function ( top of this page). Some of the posts will even go so far as to give color codes and positions of vacuum lines to test. Good luck, it is always the last part you test that has the leak.
