OM602 Pulling Intake to get to Glow Plug (Solved)

OK.. I'm biting the bullet. Can't get GP #2 out. Fat little fingers. I've ordered both gaskets. I've pulled the tube that crosses over the valve cover. Man is it dirty. My EGR valve is working. LOL. But what crap. I'm cleaning out the tube for what is worth. Any suggestions?

I suggest you block off the EGR valve; the crossover and IM will then stay much cleaner.

A 92 2.5 will miss EGR and cut boost unless you do gsxr's boost wastegate actuator mod.

After a good nights sleep. I reassessed the issue of getting the plug out. I didn't have to pull the intake. I used a long extension and attacked the plug from the back of the engine going towards the front. I was trying to attack the plug from the side, but the ALDA and fuel lines were in the way.
Coming from the back of the engine in the gap between the engine and fuel pump (parallel to the engine) worked. 1/4 in drive is what you need the 3/8 tends to be a little big.

Yeap.. Can't block the egr. Computer will cut out boost.

Actually daddi.... It's 10mm (nut on connector) and 12 mm (the glow plug). 1/4 inch drive set. 3/8 is too big.
LOL
