flywheel question?
I'm working on an engine swap right now and have a 69 220D that is missing a flywheel and waterpump pulley (along with a few miscellaneous parts). Would that flywheel be the same as the 240 or 300 series. They are obviously more common and much easier to locate....Thanks for any help out there,

Nice...Thanks...I just got a 69 220D motor with 50,000 miles on it (and super clean ) and I'm working on putting it into an 84 Isuzu diesel pup. The motor came with no flywheel so that will make it much easier to locate.

Let us know how your project is coming along with some pictures.
I guess you are going to use the MB transmission, would be nice if the PU trans would hook up since I think you have a 5th with overdrive. Charlie
