Are used injectors worth taking a chance on?

Are used injectors worth taking a chance on? Seller says they were tested and are well within specs. Opinions?

Agreed. If they have a good spray pattern I would use them....as long as they are not too expensive.

I have bought 2 sets claimed "running Pulls" from different sellers on Ebay. They all needed to be rebuilt.
Later I found that the local Junk Yards out here sell the Injectors for $5 each if you pull them off. I wasted time and money on the Ebay ones as the Junk Yard ones were in the same condition.

I bought yet another set of Injectors that the Seller said were Rebuilt. When I pulled them out of the box you could clearly see that the had been in an Engine before. After questioning the Seller I found that what the Sellers definition of Rebuilt was is that at one time in their life they had been Rebuilt. Lucky for me he refunded cost+shipping.

Unless you know your Injectors are extremely bad and you need to do something right now. I think it is better to save your money up so you can have your originals rebuilt with new Spray Nozzles.

A 2nd way would be to go to the Junk Yard and buy a set so you can send them to one of the 2 members who will do the rebuild at a inexpensive labor cost.

If they can verify that they test OK then they are fine to use.
