Monark injector info not in other Monark threads?

Hi, all.

I've spent the better part of my morning looking through the threads that came up with kewords 'injector' and 'Monark' and I can only find information about the nozzle kits.

Where can I find information about complete Monark injectors for my 81 & 83 126's?

I have pulled the #1 from the 81 (parts car) and found it to be a clean, new-looking Monark injector. The injectors read "405" then the Monark "M" device, then "37272134", followed by the pop spec ("135 bar".)

I think I remember that the previous owner had them replaced, but I'm not sure. I'd love any info, and if they fit into the right specs, pop test and swap them. Which nozzles do these have?

Thansk!

If you read all the threads you know that may of us including myself have rebuilt their Bosch Injectors with Monark Spray Nozzles. I am happy with mine.

Some of the internet part sellers are selling complete new Injectors made by Monark. The were selling some where in the $80-$90 each range from the cheaper sellers. About 2 times the cost of rebuilt Injectors w/Bosch Nozzles (and you have to pay the core charge or pay to ship your old nozzles to them).

I do not know if the interior parts other than the Spray Nozzle are interchangeable with the Bosch ones.

However, the Monark Spray Nozzles are of excellent quality so my guess would be that a ounce New Injector that had a warranty when it was sold would also be of good quality.

Member C Sean Watts sells the Monark Sparay Nozzles he has been to Germany an done business direct with Monark. He would be the one to ask any questions to.

Wink You guys rock.

Really. You rock.

Now off to pop test them, order new heat shield washers, and swap away.

SCORE!

Anyone want to buy my old bosch units???
